Yeah, it was. So, an Equestrian, eh? Try hanging out at the stables around sunset with your camera. I have a friend who's coolest pictures of her horse are from mundane situations, with unmundane (word?) light.

Thanks, love the leaf. The full-size images in your gallery are HUGE! I know the tempatation of showing off the great resolution/focus of your images, but for the sake of people being able to see an entire image on their screen you might even want to scale them down a bit. (something like 800x600, give or take, depending on how important it is to you to keep detail, is a good rule of thumb)

Thanks. I like a lot of your images too. You've got a real eye for composition and juxtaposition. Like the 'another side of the World' image. They are pretty huge though. I can't even fit all the image on my screen in full screen mode. I hate the tradeoff too, but I feel like the loss of fine detail in resizing images for the web is balanced by the fact that your images will be more accessible in that more people (with small screens and slow connections) will be able to see them.

yup, I had that pointed out to me, and have now started resizing to 1024x768 before uploading; I'd go smaller, but I know I like being able to "steal" photos as wallpaper, so I thought I'd keep them wallpaper size for others to do the same. I haven't bothered to go through and resize all the old ones though, sorry. :-) Maybe one day I'll get around to it, if I'm bored. Thanks for the fav! :-)
